Introduction

From 1st September 2015 the Ghana Revenue Authority, Customs Division will begin the processing of the Customs Classification and Valuation Report (CCVR). The CCVR shall replace the Destination Inspection Report also known as Final Classification and Valuation Report (FCVR)

High-Level Process Description

The PAARS Sub-process contains 5 basic steps:

  1. Submit eIDF and scanned supporting documents to the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MoTI).
  2. Copy of eIDF is automatically routed to PAARS.
  3. Customs Valuation Team uses the eIDF and scanned supporting documents as an input for their classification and valuation process.
  4. Once the Classification and Valuation has been confirmed, Customs Valuation Team issues an electronic copy of the Customs Classification and Valuation Report (CCVR).
  5. A copy of the CCVR is sent to Ghana Customs Management System.
